JOB DESCRIPTION

This position will be responsible for:

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Collaborate with BI team members to understand requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.
• Provide support for existing dashboards, including fixing bugs, updating data sources, and improving design and performance.
• Manage and triage dashboard-related support tickets (JIRA), ensuring timely responses and clear communication with requesters.
• Apply UX/UI best practices to create visually intuitive and easy-to-navigate dashboards.
• Conduct testing and validation of visualizations to ensure accuracy and alignment with user expectations.
• Document dashboard structures, logic, and maintenance routines.
• Stay current with visualization trends and tools to propose continuous improvements.

Required education:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.

Desirable education:

• Postgraduate or certification in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or UX/UI Design.

Required training/knowledge:

• Hands-on experience with dashboarding tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and dashboard design principles.
• Experience in debugging, testing, and maintaining dashboards.
• Ability to work with ticketing systems such as JIRA for managing support requests.
• Good communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and translating requirements into visual solutions.

Desirable training/knowledge:

• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles applied to data products.
• Knowledge of DAX (Power BI) or Tableau Calculations.
• Basic understanding of ETL/data pipeline logic to collaborate with data specialist/analyst.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to Figma, Adobe XD, or other prototyping tools for layout mockups (bonus).
