AtkinsRéalis is hiring a highly experienced Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager to oversee and implement quality management practices across the construction supervision of a Roads and Infrastructure Project. The ideal candidate will ensure that all supervision activities meet quality compliance standards, project specifications, and international best practices. This role is essential for ensuring that both construction quality control and consultant-side quality assurance procedures are rigorously followed throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires a minimum of 15 years of experience, with at least 10 years specifically in QA/QC for infrastructure projects, including experience in a quality management role in Qatar.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the supervision team's Quality Management Plan (QMP) in line with Ashghal requirements and ISO 9001 standards.
• Monitor and evaluate the contractor's QA/QC procedures, ITPs, method statements, and materials submittals to ensure full compliance.
• Lead internal QA/QC audits and participate in Ashghal audits to assess the effectiveness of the supervision team's quality processes.
• Oversee inspections, test witnessing, NCR tracking, and closeout of quality-related observations and snags.
• Supervise QA/QC Engineers and Inspectors, and provide technical guidance on materials acceptance criteria and testing protocols.
• Maintain a comprehensive QA/QC documentation system, ensuring timely and accurate filing within DCS.
• Ensure that construction materials and workmanship conform to the contract specifications and relevant international standards.
• Liaise with Quality Department and participate in coordination meetings and quality review forums.
• Lead root cause analysis for recurring quality issues and recommend continuous improvement strategies.
• Prepare weekly and monthly QA/QC reports and dashboards summarizing performance indicators and quality metrics.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (from WHED-listed university).
• Minimum 15 years total experience, with at least 10 in QA/QC roles for infrastructure/road.
• construction supervision.
• IRCA ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor (Mandatory); Additional certifications in QC/QA systems preferred.
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
• Skilled in quality assurance procedures of Ashgal.
• Familiar with document management systems (DCS), MS Office, AutoCAD (viewing), and site-related software.

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, QCS, and QA/QC procedures.
• Leadership in implementing site-based quality systems.
• ]Practical experience in managing material testing, ITPs, and NCR resolution.
• Strong coordination with multi-disciplinary teams and technical departments.
