Description

Sol-Up is one of the fastest-growing solar companies, and we are currently seeking a Solar Installation Field Supervisor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an industry-leading company and collaborate with some of the best solar teams in the field.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced journeyman Solar Installation Field Supervisor with a background in both residential and commercial solar projects. As the leader of our installation teams, the Supervisor will create a positive and safe work environment by following all protocols to ensure a good experience for all team members. This role is a crucial part of the management team and involves overseeing daily workflow operations. Additionally, the Solar Supervisor must provide daily reports to the operations team.

Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • On-site Safety
  • Quality Control
  • Manage solar crews
  • Workflow Management
  • Material Ordering
  • Inventory control
  • Assist with Project Scheduling
  • Site survey of both commercial and residential projects (as needed)
  • Recruiting
  • Site-Plan Reviewer
  • On-site training
  • Service
  • Inspections
  • Complete other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

WORK EXPERIENCE
  • 5+ years of solar installation experience is required, and electrical knowledge is a must!

  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong interest in renewable energy and supporting our company's high-quality standards
  • Understanding of wire and conduit sizing and how to make adjustments for environmental factors
  • Pass a pre-employment criminal background and drug screen
  • Clean driving record and a valid state driver's license, reliable transportation
  • Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops with proper safety apparatus
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact positively in a team environment
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to:
  • Work in extreme environments, e.g., hot sun, crawl spaces, ladders, roofs, etc.
  • Climb ladders stairs, work on rooftops, and work on feet for extended periods of tim.e
  • Lift or carry up to 50 pounds, unassisted, in performing specific tasks as assigned.
  • Physically access all areas of the office and work environment with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external clients and contacts.
  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, stretch, bend, and kneel for prolonged periods.
  • Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
  • Work indoors and outdoors, and you may be exposed to various environmental factors, such as, but not limited to, heat, cold, noise, dust, and fragrance aromas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
