What are you going to do

  • Review and ensure adherence to all Consortium and Company policies, procedures and controls to ensure all procedural, legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective product and service to customers in alignment with the Company vision and mission;
  • Establish and implement controls to ensure no violation of ISR regulations to protect the company information/intellectual properties;
  • Synergize with the Company Quality Management Division Departments, Consortium Partners and Sub-contractors to coordinate efficient resource planning, availability, and allocations to achieve the Project Quality Objectives;
  • Assist in the development and management of the assigned EPCI Project Consortium Quality Function Budget and towards the overall EPC Quality & Compliance Function Budget;
  • Quality Management;
  • Develop, Implement and Maintain the EPCI Project QMS that aligns with the Company QMS and Project Quality Requirements as defined in the Client Quality Specifications;
  • Develop and Implement EPCI Project Quality Management Plan (QMP), Permitting Plan, Verification & Validation Plan, Certification Plan, Project Quality Plan (PQP) and relevant Quality Procedures in line with Company’s QMS procedures and the EPCI Project Specifications, Codes, and standards;
  • Single point accountability for the Consortium Function for the delivery of the EPCI Project Quality requirements, deliverables, Certification Program, Verification and Validation Program, and Quality;
  • Represent EPCI Consortium Quality & Compliance Function to Clients, External bodies, and function in an advisory role to internal and external stakeholders related to all Quality & Compliance matters for the EPCI project;
  • Assist the EPCI Project Leadership Team to develop, manage and monitor the Quality performance for the EPCI Project and maintain a robust set of Quality statistics based on the QMS, analysis, reporting and implementation;
  • Establish, measure, and assure achievement of all project KPI’s including reporting to Management on a weekly/monthly basis (IE Status, trends, corrective actions, and Improvements);
  • Plan and implement the Quality Control process through development of Project Quality Inspection and Test Plans covering all intervention activities at Fabrication/Construction Yards, Vendor, and Subcontract premises;
  • Resource and manage the Consortium Quality Management function to assure achievement of the Project Quality Goals and Objectives in line with Client Quality requirements;
  • Plan, organize, coordinate, and control day-to-day operations of the Consortium Quality Function;
  • Establish and implement the Consortium Project Quality Audit Program and the Readiness Review Program to measure and assure EPCI Project requirements are measured and met;
  • Establish and implement a robust Consortium Project NCR process;
  • Identify and mitigate all key Quality issues arising from customer satisfaction survey analysis, lessons learnt, non-conformances and implement a robust Project Quality Risk Management process;
  • Complete the Project post implementation review to verify successful delivery has been achieved and to ensure experience transfer to future Projects including Quality input to the project Close-out Report;
  • Motivate the Consortium Quality team subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice,’ and through use and implementation of robust lesson learned process;
  • Plan, organize, coordinate, and manage the activities and work of EPC Consortium Quality personnel to ensure the project QMS is implemented, and the project Quality objectives are achieved;
  • Identify opportunities for improvement of systems, processes, and practices with the objective of improving customer satisfaction, reducing cost, improving productivity, and implementing international “best in class” practices and standards;
  • Hold EPCI Project Weekly and Monthly Quality and Compliance Meetings and generate Project Quality Weekly and Monthly reports;
  • Hold EPCI Project Permitting & Consents Kick-Off Meeting, Weekly Meetings, and issue Weekly & Monthly progress reports;
  • Hold EPCI Project Certification KOM and Weekly Meetings, and issue Weekly Certification Reports to verify compliance to project requirements;
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety and legislative compliance;
  • Performs other related Quality duties or assignments as required by the Project Director.


Essential skills and knowledge

  • Master's Degree in relevant field. University Degree in Engineering or Quality Discipline;
  • Accredited Certificate in Quality Management;
  • Lead Auditor QMS ISO 9001:2015 valid certificate;
  • 15+ years’ experience in EPCI Mega Projects Quality management roles in Oil & Gas, Power, Renewable Energy Projects/ Industries in a similar leading Quality Management position;
  • Thorough knowledge and experience with demonstrated competency in the implementation of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems & Requirements on EPCI mega-projects;
  • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic direction to the Consortium Project Management team (PMT) in terms of Quality, Certification, Permitting, Verification & Validation Processes;
  • Broad technical acumen with strong analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and successfully execute all Quality Management tasks on Major EPCI Projects in accordance with the Consortium Project objectives and the Project Quality Management System;
  • Ability to measure, audit and ensure robust implementation of the Project change management process, to mitigate the risks associated with non-compliance;
  • Meetings, E-mails, Presentations, One-to-one discussions, Audits, Readiness Reviews;
  • Must be fluent in English. Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage;
