The Vestas NCE Payroll Department is responsible for managing payroll for approximately 6,000 employees across 15 countries in Northern and Central Europe. Our dedicated team of 10 payroll specialists ensures accurate and timely handling of all time and pay-related processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage salary and wage processes across various European countries
- Collaborate with external payroll vendors to ensure accurate and timely payroll execution
- Oversee time tracking systems, including control, data accuracy, and master data maintenance
- Ensure employees are correctly remunerated in line with contracts and regulations
- Handle both internal and external payroll-related reporting requirements
- Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on payroll matters
- Maintain compliance and consistency in payroll operations across regions
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as payroll administrator or payroller
- Proficient in using payroll systems, with a strong understanding of lean processes and meeting deadlines
- A genuine interest in understanding, evaluating, and continuously improving workflows and operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with various stakeholders, both verbally and in writing, ensuring smooth collaboration and mutual understanding
- Fluent in English

- Primary work location: Aarhus, Denmark.
- This position requires approximately 5 days of global travel per year.
