JOB DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load/unload high-temperature oven for the pouring process
• Support melt operations including filtering, hot top & cover, and mold repairs
• Control melt temperature and perform deslag procedure
• Tear down and rebuild melt pots
• Perform additional tasks as needed
• Follow all NOV Company and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies

FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Read and interpret work orders
• Complete labor tickets accurately
• Stage work orders for melt and knock-out processes
• Provide support for melt operations

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• Basic English reading/writing skills
• General computer literacy
• Understanding of basic quality control
• Investment casting (lost wax) experience preferred

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures (up to 115°F in summer; below freezing in winter)
• Must lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly using proper technique
• Use of A/C drop-down tubes and hydration encouraged during hot conditions
