JOB DESCRIPTION
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform complex welding tasks using:
- Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) with a wire feed gun
- Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) using 7018 electrodes
- Accurately read and interpret complex engineering drawings and weld procedures
- Operate oxygen/acetylene cutting torch safely and effectively
- Follow instructions on work routers with precision
- Identify and report technical problems to the Repair Crew Chief
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety guidelines
- Work collaboratively to improve efficiency and meet delivery targets
- Follow all applicable company policies, including process maps, support processes, safety, and environmental standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 3 years welding experience in a shop or field environment
- Ability to pass a 2G bend test using both FCAW and SMAW methods
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
