KBR is seeking a Space Standardizations and Evaluations (Stan/Eval) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide on-site support to Headquarters Space Operations Command (HQ SpOC) Deputy Commander Operations, Plans, Training and Force Development (S3/5/7) located on Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO.

$110,000 - $120,000
This range is for Colorado only.
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:

KBR is seeking a Space Standardizations and Evaluations (Stan/Eval) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide on-site support to Headquarters Space Operations Command (HQ SpOC) Deputy Commander Operations, Plans, Training and Force Development (S3/5/7) located on Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and guidance for Stan/Eval functions in HQ SpOC Mission/Space Deltas, aligned units, and Total Force units supporting an associated space mission
- Oversee implementation of HHQ and SpOC training policy, guidance, and directives
- Coordinate with HQ SpOC Staff (e.g., S3/5, Mission Area Teams, Mission Area Divisions, Mission Operations Division) and Deltas to assess training Stan/Eval effectiveness and compliance IAW DAF 13-602 Volumes.
- Conduct formal assessments of Deltas.
- Convene or participate in conferences and working groups to review and improve command Stan/Eval policies and procedures.
- Review and coordinate on training policy and guidance updates, training documentation, waiver requests, and Weapons and Tactics products for consistency and standardization across Deltas and HQ SpOC Staff and in compliance with HQ SpOC and USSF directives and instructions.
- Administer and oversee HQ SpOC's Spacecrew Standardizations program.
- Assess the overall health of the HQ SpOC Training program.
- Evaluate lessons learned and ensure feedback is documented and provided to the Deltas, HQ SpOC, and USSF.
- Validate and verify the processes, procedures, and standards used to inspect, assess, audit, certify, accredit, or evaluate Deltas and Squadrons.
- Track and review Functional Area Manager Inspector General operational training findings.
- Travel may be required for limited durations to support Customer events.
Qualifications:
Required:
- An active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this position, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.
- BA/BS degree (5+ years of relevant experience may substitute).
- Task Management Tool proficiency.
- Familiarity with DAFMAN 36-2689, Training Program and DAF 13-602 Volumes regarding Spacecrew Training, Standardization and Evaluation, and Operations.
- Experience operating multiple space weapon systems.
- Experience with Joint- or Service-level training, weapons and tactics and/or Stan/Eval development.
- Headquarters experience in the US Space Force, US Air Force, Combatant Command, SpOC, STARCOM or equivalent.
- MICT, IGEMs, and Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) and/or Task Management Tool (TMT)proficiency.
- Experience with using operating, or knowledge of Patriot Excalibur (PEX).
- The ability to work in a secure, confined location (i.e., SCIF).
