Title : Outside Sales & Lead Generation Specialist

Pay Rate : $20-25/ hr DOE

Hours : M-F 40 hours

Location : Onsite Hillsboro, OR

Type : Direct Hire

About the Role

You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying open job roles from online platforms, locating key decision-makers, and performing targeted cold outreach to pitch Cinder's staffing services.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys research, is proactive with outreach, and wants to gain valuable experience in the sales and staffing industry.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting
    • Search job boards, company career pages, and online listings to identify open roles across industries that align with Cinder's staffing capabilities.
    • Research and gather contact information (email, phone number, LinkedIn) for relevant stakeholders - hiring managers, HR teams, and talent acquisition leads.
  • Cold Outreach & Engagement
    • Initiate cold calls, send emails, and engage on LinkedIn to introduce Cinder's staffing services.
    • Craft personalized pitches tailored to the prospect's hiring needs.
    • Schedule discovery calls between prospects and the Cinder leadership team.
  • CRM Management
    • Maintain and update lead information, activity logs, and outreach notes in CRM tools.
    • Track conversion rates and provide weekly reporting on outreach outcomes and booked meetings.
  • Collaboration & Strategy
    • Work closely with Cinder's leadership team to prioritize high-value industries and targets.
    • Support ongoing sales and marketing efforts with fresh lead insights and outreach feedback.

About You

Required:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and meet outreach targets.
  • Comfort with making cold calls and managing outreach across multiple platforms (email, phone, LinkedIn).
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn CRM or sales enablement tools.

Preferred:
  • Previous experience in staffing, recruiting, sales, or customer service (even 3-6 months is helpful!).
  • Familiarity with job boards like Indeed, LinkedIn Jobs, and ZipRecruiter.
  • Understanding of sales pipelines or lead tracking.
