Your role and responsibilities
ABB's Electrification business area is a global technology leader enabling the efficient and reliable use of electricity from source to socket. We collaborate with our customers and partners to solve the world's greatest challenges in electrical distribution and energy management. Our portfolio encompasses digital and connected innovations for low- and medium-voltage, including electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure, modular substations, distribution automation, power protection, wiring accessories, switchgear, enclosures, cabling, sensing and control. We also offer services to improve reliability, availability, predictability and sustainability of electrical systems. To strengthen our market presence in Bulgaria, we are seeking a visionary Sales & Marketing Manager to drive growth and elevate our brand to new heights. You will be in charge of our Electrification business and will lead a high-performing and talented team, develop key partnerships, and implement innovative go-to-market strategies to position us as the premier choice in the industry. The work model for the role is hybrid. You will be mainly accountable for: • Crafting and steering a powerful sales and marketing strategy that accelerates revenue growth, expands market share, and positions the company as an industry leader • Driving business success by establishing and tracking key performance targets, optimizing sales volume, refining pricing strategies, and by actively engaging with our customers with a hands-on approach • Coaching, inspiring and continuously developing a results-driven and dynamic sales and marketing team by fostering a forward-thinking culture of continuous innovation and adaptability, staying ahead of industry trends and competitive landscape, fostering a culture of continuous improvement • Driving collaboration and engagement locally with other teams & functions, as well as internationally with peers and extended leadership team You will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration or engineering (master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in directly leading sizeable sales teams, preferably in the electrical engineering or industrial sector, with understanding of the products, solutions, and Bulgarian market dynamics
- Leadership & Influence: Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills to engage own team, our customers and internal stakeholders
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams, displaying a curious and collaborative approach towards various teams and functions locally and internationally
- Analytical and self-driven to use data and digital tools to optimize sales processes and performance
- Good understanding of compliance requirements related to governance, experience managing risks while ensuring adherence to organizational standards and policies
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally, when required.
