Position: HVAC Technician

Job Qualifications:

• GED/High School Diploma (preferred)
• Valid Texas Driver's License - must be insurable by district's insurance carrier
• Completion of an apprenticeship or completion of technical school required
• Journeyman's license preferred
• CFC Certification

Job Description:

Assist in the designing, planning, installing and repairing all types of air conditioning and heating systems and equipment in a way that will ensure the health and safety of the constituents of the district.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain, repair or replace district air conditioning systems, heating systems, ventilation systems, hot water boilers, refrigeration equipment, gas kitchen equipment, etc. Peform all duties as assigned by the HVAC supervisor.

Required Experience: Three years of experience in HVAC related work preferred

Other Information:

The district contributes $400/month to the cost of employee only health insurance, which is $175/month greater than the state required amount of $225/month.
