At ABB, we don't just follow the energy transition we lead it. Now we are looking for a driven and visionary Sales Manager Greenfield Projects to build and lead a brand-new sales team dedicated to winning large-scale, complex Greenfield projects in the energy sector.
This is a unique chance to make your mark. You will not be asked to simply manage a process you will shape it. With full ownership of pursuits handed over from ABB organization, you and your team will take centre stage in positioning ABB as the preferred bidder in Sweden's most exciting energy transition projects. We're looking for a leader who thrives on challenge, inspires others to push boundaries, and knows what it takes to win.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and Lead a High-Performing Team
Recruit, coach, and develop a new Greenfield Sales team - creating a culture where collaboration, accountability, and bold thinking drive success. - Take Ownership of Pursuits
Lead the sales process for major Greenfield opportunities from handover to close, setting strategies, defining priorities, and ensuring winning outcomes. - Lead by Example
For complex pursuits, take the lead in structuring capture teams, guiding strategy, and overseeing every aspect of execution - from supply chain and contracting models to multi-partner engagement. - Shape Winning Strategies
Collaborate with technical, legal, commercial, and operational teams to design and deliver innovative solutions that stand out in the market. - Drive Performance
Establish best-in-class sales processes and tools, manage pipeline discipline, and lead bid/no-bid decisions with confidence and clarity. - Be the Point of Impact
Ensure ABB is positioned as the partner of choice for every pursuit you and your team own - with a sharp focus on results and winning.
Qualifications for the Role
- Proven leadership experience in building and leading high-performing sales teams, ideally in Greenfield or capital project environments.
- Strong track record in complex B2B solution sales across sectors such as Energy, Power, Industrial Automation, or Infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of selling complex solutions, including multi-discipline scopes, contracting models, cross-border trade, and multi-partner ecosystems.
- Familiarity with the Swedish energy market landscape.
- Excellent capture leadership and strategic decision-making skills - able to turn complexity into clarity and direction.
- Strong collaboration skills across large organisations and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and proficiency in MS Office.
- Fluent in Swedish and English.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Sweden.
