Description:
We are actively hiring HVAC Pipefitters for ongoing commercial construction projects in Austin and San Antonio. Candidates must have experience with the layout and installation of HVAC piping systems, including chilled water, hot water, and condenser water lines. This position offers long-term opportunities with growth potential for dependable, skilled professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Install chilled water, hot water, and condenser water piping systems for commercial HVAC units
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and piping schematics
• Measure, cut, thread, groove, and weld pipe to required specifications
• Mount and secure pipe hangers, supports, valves, and insulation
• Coordinate work with other trades and follow the direction of foremen or supervisors
• Pressure test systems and troubleshoot leaks or flow issues
• Maintain a safe and clean job site in accordance with OSHA standards

Requirements:

• 3+ years of HVAC pipefitting experience on commercial construction sites
• Strong understanding of HVAC system components (chillers, boilers, air handlers, pumps)
• Skilled in pipefitting tools and methods (ProPress, threading, grooving, welding)
• Familiarity with copper, steel, and black iron piping
• Must be able to read and layout from blueprints and mechanical drawings
• OSHA 10 or 30 preferred
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to work full-time with occasional overtime and Saturday shifts
