JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is recruiting for an IT Equipment & Service Mgmt. & Planning Supervisor (Local National) to join its Iraq business unit focusing on supporting the IT manager to establish, maintain and revise the IT business processes, policies and procedures for a Major Onshore Brownfield Project in Basra, Iraq on 5 days on / 2 days off rotation.

This role is a full-time on-site role in Basra, Iraq with travel requirement.

Key Objectives
  • Support the IT manager to establish, maintain and revision the IT business processes, policies and procedures for IT equipment management, service management, budget management, planning management and cyber security compliances
  • Support IT Manager to plan, establish, implement and maintain the overall IT procedure workflows and organization charts
  • Lead the implementation and enforcement of IT equipment policies and procedures
  • Lead and supervise IT equipment management team to conduct the IT equipment inventory analysis and management, including procedures of check-in/check-out, allocation, transfer, obsoleting and disposal, etc.
  • Lead the establishment and maintaining of IT Service Management (ITSM) standard procedures towards in-house IT service staff, MSP and LC specific services, including but not limited to:
    • Service request fulfillment
    • Incident Management
    • Problem Management
    • Change Management
    • Release Management
    • Configuration management
    • Project Management
    • Assert Management
    • Service Desk Management
  • Lead the implementation and enforcement of ITSM procedures to IT department and business users based on ITIL framework and international enterprise best practices
  • Lead the ITSM application platform customization, enhancement and continued improvement
  • Assist IT manager and collaborate with other IT supervisors to refine and adoption of ITSM procedures in all IT technology teams
  • Enforce the KPI and SLA monitory and review of all in-house service staff, MSP and LC specific service resources
  • Lead and supervise the annual Work Plan and Budget (WPB) composition in association with other supervisors
  • Develop and supervise annual work plans and budgets for MSP related servicesin annual WPB work
  • Lead the cost stewardship including reporting, accruals and payment management activities for IT cost center budgets and AFEs
  • Lead the annual procurement planning and equipment planning in association with other supervisors
  • Enforce the adoption and implementation of ITSM procedures to all Managed Service Providers (MSP), Internet Service Providers (ISP) and other service contractors
  • Manage the service contracts for managed service management implementation and support, supervise and management service acceptance and performance evaluations to services in association with other supervisors
  • Control, approve, manage and accept general purchase requisitions and purchase orders for training, workshops and subcontracted material services from MSP
  • Enforce IT governance, IT internal process controls and cybersecurity compliances with the support of other supervisors
  • Organizeapplication team to conduct business analysis with business users for the identification of new business needs, strategic design, solution definition and requirement management
  • Responsible for the design and development of job portfolios, security and control processes and application system management processes for Service Management team
  • Coordinate and cooperate with IT managers, counterpart supervisor and other supervisors to facilitate the realization of department work plan and performance goals in ITSM perspective
  • Manage, lead and supervise the work performance, results and quality of IT Equipment Management, Service Management and Planning team subordinates and related MSP

Expected:
  • Over 10 years' career experience in enterprise service management, contract management, internal control and audit, asset management and / or inventory management.
  • Solid experience and strong capability in team leadership, supervision and management in an IT organization.
  • Solid experiences and expertise in ITSM procedure development and implementation with understanding of organization culture and international best practices.
  • Expertise to the ITIL framework and practices
  • Strong sense and experience in IT compliance and business process control practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with teamwork orientation. Excellent decision making, business judgement, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and comprehension of business needs, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong project management skills with PMI PMP or Prince certificate.
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Experience in leading and managing working global, diverse-culture teams and suppliers.
  • Bachelor's degree or above major in business management or IT.


Preferred Skills
  • Practical experiences in O&G enterprise IT department is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of procurement management, contract management and logistics management is preferred.
  • ITIL Managing Professional certification is preferred.
  • CISA certificate is preferred.
  • Wide experience and knowledge in IT general management and operation is preferred.
  • Hands-on experiences in Service Now is preferred.
