This position reports to

Regional Sales Manager Asia

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to adapt and implement sales support strategy for a designated area in accordance with the global support strategy. Each day, you will ensure technical and commercial support for internal and external customers. You will also showcase your expertise by overseeing estimations, bids, and proposals ensuring alignment with ABB standards and targets and leading, developing, and coaching the Sales Support team. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Motion System Drives Business Division. You will be mainly accountable for: • Supporting the Local Sales Units and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers. Responsible for defining pricing of products and solutions to Local Sales Units focusing on volume, mix, value proposition and profitability targets for the Business Line. • Developing stronger and more productive Local Sales Units. Offering product/solution/application related training and support. • Providing product presentations, commercial and technical support to Local Sales Units and customers. • Providing engineered and technically challenging solutions with back-end support to local sales units

Qualifications for the role

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales Support or similar role
  • Education B. Sc. or M. Sc. Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience working with ABB ACS880 Industrial drives or equivalent products
  • You have excellent communication skills and cooperative mindset aiming for Win-Win solutions
  • Proactive can-do attitude
  • Customer-Centric mindset
  • Fluent in English; other language skills are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel
