This position reports to

Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization (division and market) and customers during the proposal process. You will serve as a key technical resource, providing expertise, especially in the Automation area. Your responsibilities will include preparing detailed technical descriptions of products and technology, determining the associated costs, and preparing and finalizing proposal documentation to ensure accuracy and clarity. The work model for the role is: #onsite #onsite-Li This role is contributing to the Sales Manager in Hydra, Algeria. Main stakeholders are customers, channels, Sales Specialists, Supply Chain, and the Sales organization. You will be mainly accountable for: • Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers, channels, and Sales Specialists regarding ABB products, systems, and applications • Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution for customer needs and complex inquiries • Preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues • Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities and resolving customer problems to meet targets for orders, Net Price Variance (NPV), and Net Promoter Score (NPS) • Supporting the Sales organization and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in preparing demanding offers • Coordinating with Supply Chain to optimize technical and cost-effective solutions from sub-suppliers and partners • Managing requests for quotations from sub-suppliers and ensuring compliance with technical conditions • Defining and communicating the costs for proposed solutions to the Sales organization • Participating in the preparation of technical/commercial offers, ensuring all technical and financial aspects are accurately reflected • Ensuring adherence to ABB's global standards, values, and safety and integrity regulations in all activities You will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

  • You are highly skilled in Portfolio Management, Business Strategy, Market Intelligence, Go-to-market Strategy, and Customer Experience Success, and are familiar with the Process & Industrial Automation market
  • You have 2-3 years of experience in sales, with a focus on Account Management, Business Development & Adoption, and Sales Enablement
  • You possess strong expertise in preparing and delivering both technical and commercial offers to customers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer specifications
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of Proposal experience, Pricing Excellence, Regulation & Legal Compliance, and General Sales Practices
  • You demonstrate a solid understanding of Customer Experience Success, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships
  • You are passionate about innovative approaches to Solution/Application Sales Engineering and Channel Sales, with a strong emphasis on Contract & Risk Management
  • Degree in Automation Engineering, with a demonstrated track record in technical and commercial offer preparation for customers
  • You are at ease communicating in English
