Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Response customer technical inquiries on CFM56-5B series engines, mainly focus on line maintenance, controls and engine systems questions
- Lead and support fleet significant events investigation and critical fleet issue solving by horizontal leadership with engine systems domain knowledge and system thinking
- Deliver customer technical communication to ensure customer fully understand fleet issues solving status, containment plan, final fix resolution, support customer maintenance and fulfill customer technical satisfaction
- Support maintaining fleet reliability and stability by collaborating with PSE hardware owners and Life Cycle Engineers
- Support Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) Manual mature
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in Mandarin and English
- Bachelor's degree or plus in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university
- 3 years of experience in turbofan engine engineering position
Desired Characteristics
- 3+ years of experience in aircraft engine hardware design, analysis, testing or integration is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Ability to plan, execute and document programs with process orientation approach
- Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently, especially under tight deadlines
