Senior Director of Energy Trading

Location: Singapore / Malaysia / Vietnam / Thailand / Philippines

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of Energy Trading to establish and build out our energy trading operations in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing trading strategies, managing risk, and maximizing profitability in the renewable energy market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement trading strategies for renewable energy products
• Manage risk exposure and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth
• Build out and lead a team of energy traders and provide guidance and mentorship
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize trading activities
• Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to drive continuous improvement

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in energy trading, experience with renewable energy will be an added advantage
• Demonstrated track record of success in developing and executing trading strategies
• In-depth knowledge of energy markets and regulatory frameworks
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field (MBA preferred)
