This Position reports to:
Head of Engineering

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of Research and Development (R&D) employees and support them in achieving the agreed R&D targets. Each day, you will coach and develop the team. You will also showcase your expertise by helping in managing technologies, platforms, and Intellectual Property.

The work model for the role is: #LI Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business of Process Control Platform Division in Bangalore Location.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Working on competence management and people development - ensuring team has the right mix of competencies to deliver the portfolios assigned to the cluster.
• Champion of Agile philosophy and practices and its adherence by teams.
• Creating technology roadmaps and providing input regarding technology strategy planning
• Providing people management with coaching and performance feedback to all team members

Qualifications for the role:

• 10 plus years of experience in Research & Development, Technology, Product and Process Automation domain
• Knowledge and relevant experience in Research and Development processes
• Knowledge of field device management and process automation standards
• A solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
• Good people management and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English
• Master's degree in engineering or related
