The HSE department for Onshore Service North supports the onshore service organisation in the Nordics, Benelux, Poland, Baltic States, United Kingdom & Ireland. We are responsible for assisting the service business deliver 'Safety First' in more than 16 countries across Europe. Our current installed capacity in the region is more than 23GW produced from over 7000 turbines.
This is a mobile role with an expected 60-40 split between working in the field and the office. You will be based in the Videbæk office and be responsible for supporting Service Onshore Service Operations Support (SOS) in the Nordics, United Kingdom & Ireland. SOS are responsible for executing complex operations, maintenance and repairs on wind turbines, including major component exchange and lifting operations across multiple operational wind farms.
Responsibilities
Ensure that Health, Safety & Environment policies and procedures are communicated and followed within Service Onshore Service Operations Support (SOS). As the HSE Professional, you will provide, HSE support to the Service Onshore SOS management team. Act as a safety role model, encourage and recognize others completing safe acts, and intervene when unsafe acts are being practiced. It will also be your responsibility to assist with the reporting and investigation of hazardous observations, near misses and incidents and support the management team in handling these incident investigations, ensuring the necessary corrective/preventive actions are implemented.

Responsibilities

Your duties will include the following:
- Collect, validate, report, and respond to HSE data while ensuring compliance with national legislation
- Review, revise, and maintain HSE Management System documentation, including Emergency Response Plans and Safe Systems of Work
- Collaborate closely with customers and stakeholders to align on HSE matters and expectations
- Provide ongoing support and advice to local management on HSE issues, including legal and procedural guidance
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and contractor reviews to ensure adherence to HSE standards
- Facilitate and support safety committee meetings, emergency drills, and local safety culture initiatives
- Deliver coaching and awareness training to personnel to enhance HSE culture and promote continuous improvement
Qualifications
- You have either an HSE profile and are interested in joining the onshore wind industry, or you have experience from the onshore wind industry and are interested in HSE
- Hold a relevant HSE qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) or be willing to obtain certification
- I have at least 3 years of experience in a similar HSE role within the onshore wind or broader energy sector
- Possess knowledge of Directive 92/57/EEC and its regional implementations (e.g., BAS-U/BAS-P, CDM, Construction Regulations)
- Demonstrate practical experience in electrical or mechanical trades, with additional experience working at height in wind turbine environments
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, alongside adherence to safe work practices and compliance with heavy lifting operations
- Demonstrate a solid grasp of risk assessment techniques and establishing efficient control measures
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new digital systems, with a full, clean driving license
