Our client, a boutique financial firm in NYC, is looking for a Vice President of Demand Generation Marketing to lead their customer acquisition efforts for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs). This role is ideal for a player-coach who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is equally comfortable setting strategic direction and executing campaigns. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of driving demand at scale through both digital and direct mail channels. You will be responsible for owning and optimizing the entire demand generation funnel - from awareness to conversion and beyond - leveraging data, technology, and creativity to deliver measurable growth. This is a highly visible role with direct impact on revenue, working closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, and Marketing Ops to fuel their growth engine. This is a hybrid role that requires 3-days/week onsite in Midtown Manhattan.

- Salary:$150-200k
- Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of demand generation campaigns across digital (paid search, display, social, email) and direct mail channels
- Own the full customer acquisition funnel, ensuring a seamless and optimized lead journey from first touch to sales-qualified lead
- Develop and manage lead nurturing programs to improve engagement, retention, and conversion
- Use a data-driven approach to measure performance, conduct A/B testing, and continually optimize conversion rates across all touchpoints
- Collaborate with Sales to ensure high-quality lead delivery, alignment on lead scoring, and closed-loop feedback
- Manage marketing automation and CRM systems to track, report, and analyze campaign performance
- Mentor and grow a high-performing demand generation team while remaining hands-on with execution
- Identify new tools, trends, and strategies to improve the effectiveness and scalability of demand generation efforts
- Own and manage the demand generation budget, ensuring efficient and effective use of spend to drive ROI
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in B2B demand generation, with a strong background in financial services or fintech targeting SMBs
- Proven success managing large-scale lead generation programs with both digital and direct mail components
- Deep understanding of high-volume lead environments and experience optimizing funnel performance at scale
- Demonstrated ability to act as a player-coach - leading a team while remaining actively involved in campaign execution
- Strong expertise in marketing automation, CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce), and analytics tools
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and translate insights into action
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Data teams to align on goals and optimize results
- Exceptional project management, organizational, and communication skills
