Short description

The role will provide support for maintenance work at various onshore wind and solar farm sites.

Function description

The initial assignment will be at Haystack Wind Farm in Carroll, NE. The work to be supervised includes the replacement and/or repair of major components of wind turbine generators (WTGs). Examples primarily include WTG main bearings but may also include WTG blades. Variation in the work pattern is likely to occur and flexibility is required.

Additional sites, to be determined but may include sites located in South Dakota or Texas.

• The norm is a 5 day week, 10 hour days.
• Potential for the work week to extend into weekend support.
• Project relevant commute within scope of work is covered by the consultant. Per diem to cover travel to and within the site and local accommodation.
  • Additional Travel pattern/destinations to be aligned with Operations Plant Manager(s)/Line Manager.

Requirements

• Onshore Wind Farm construction experience

• QHSE degree qualification on Diploma or BS level.

• Completed NEBOSH; ASP/CSP level, or similar recognized (Q)HSE qualification.

• Qualified/certified Auditor.

• Delivery of training courses / material.
