JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team on Aramco projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process for goods and services, ensuring that all purchases are made in accordance with Aramco's procurement policies, procedures, and standards. The Procurement Specialist will work closely with project teams to identify procurement needs, develop procurement strategies, and negotiate contracts with suppliers

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Procurement Planning:
    • Develop and implement procurement plans and strategies to meet project requirements.
    • Identify procurement needs and opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  2. Supplier Management:
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure that goods and services are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure that the company's interests are protected (as applicable).
  3. Tendering and Bidding:
    • Prepare and issue tenders and bids for goods and services, ensuring that all relevant documentation is included and that the tendering process is fair and transparent.
    • Evaluate bids and proposals from suppliers, ensuring that all relevant factors are considered and that the best value for money is achieved.
  4. Contract Administration:
    • Administer contracts and agreements, including monitoring performance, managing changes, and ensuring that all contractual obligations are met.
    • Coordinate with project teams to ensure that contracts are properly executed and that all necessary documentation is in place.
  5. Procurement Operations:
    • Manage the procurement process, including requisitioning, ordering, and expediting goods and services (as applicable)
    • Ensure that all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with Aramco's procurement policies, procedures, and standards.
  6. Reporting and Analytics:
    • Prepare and submit reports on procurement activities, including spend analysis, supplier performance, and contract management.
    • Analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for process improvement.
