NES Fircroft are looking for a Project Control Lead to join a major operator in Dubai, UAE supporting a multi-billion dollar project.

The Project Control Lead shall report to the Package Manager and assists the Package Manager in the organisation, management and control of the Package. You shall be responsible for all the activities relative to “Project Control / Services & Contracts”, in particular, in the following domains:
 

• Contracts/Procurement
• Budget and Cost Control
• Scheduling and Progress Control, Reporting, Risk management
• Human resources and associated logistic
• Methods and Organisation
• Documentation Control
• Compliance
• IT

The Project Control Lead reports functionally to the Project Control & Risks Manager and shall accordingly respect directives given by Project Control & Risks Manager. You will also manage a team of several engineers/technicians, he/she shall inform and motivate them adequately so that priorities are clear and directions for the performance of their duties are set to meet the objectives of the package and of the Project. You will also be accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behaviour about Compliance and HSSE rules & requirements and for implementing and controlling Compliance and HSSE rules within his area of responsibility.

• Safety in all execution phases.
• Maintain a cooperative and constructive approach within the Team, the Contractors and Third parties without compromise toward the Project objectives.
• Keep the Package on track within the Budget and planned Schedule, having identified Risks, minimized and closely monitored.
• Ethical code of conduct strict compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Qualification: Engineering degree or equivalent
• Professional Experience: 15 years minimum in Oil and Gas Project Control and Contracts
• Experience in a similar position: 5 years minimum
• Significant experience with client is a plus
• Excellent knowledge Contract administration activities
• Fluent in English, French is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-changing and constantly evolving environment, internally and externally with different stakeholders
