Contract Duration: 2 Months (Initial), with potential for extension across multiple projects
Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced Coxswains for offshore inspection campaigns. The ideal candidates will operate and manage 24-metre vessels in a dynamic marine environment, supporting critical offshore project operations. This is a rotational offshore role and requires candidates who meet both operational and medical readiness.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate 24M support vessels during offshore inspection campaigns.

Ensure safety and compliance with maritime regulations while at sea.

Execute vessel manoeuvring, crew transfer, and marine support operations in support of inspection teams.

Maintain operational readiness and perform basic checks on vessel systems.

Support night or day shift operations as assigned.
Required Certifications and Qualifications:

Valid Certificate of Competency as a Coxswain

Valid Qatar Boat License
-
STCW Basic Safety Training (compliant with STCW Regulations)
-
HUET OPITO or BOSIET OPITO Certificate
-
A minimum of 5 years’ experience operating similar-sized vessels

Strong knowledge of offshore navigation and small craft handling in dynamic environments
Mandatory Offshore Medical Requirements (in English or available on short notice):
Candidates must provide or be able to obtain the following to be eligible for Offshore Medical Fitness (OMF) card:

OGUK Medical with detailed reports

Fasting Blood Glucose (include HbA1C if above 5.5)

Complete Blood Count (CBC including Platelets)

Liver Function Tests (SGPT, SGOT, Bilirubin, GGT)

Renal Function Tests (Urea, Creatinine, Uric Acid)

Chest X-ray

Spirometry (Lung Function Test)

Audiogram (Hearing Test)

BMI Calculation

Pulse and Blood Pressure

Vision Test: Near, Distance, and Colour

AFB Screening (for food handlers only)
Offshore Experience:

Proven offshore experience is required

Familiarity with offshore inspection operations is advantageous
Projects:

Project 1: 6–8 weeks – Day Shift

Project 2: 6–8 weeks – Day and Night Shifts
