Wood is recruiting for a Reporting Accountant to join its Group Functions team. The Reporting Accountant plays an important role in providing the CFO, ELT and Group Finance team with financial information and analysis. Primary responsibilities will be focused on reporting to the ELT and Board on a monthly basis.

This position will be Hybrid based.

The Reporting Accountant plays a key role in ensuring the Group consolidation system is fully completed for the Group in line with the IFRS accounting standards and the Group timetable on a monthly basis, and that Groups monthly management reporting is prepared to a high standard.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparation of the monthly management accounts report including variance analysis and commentary on results
  • Preparation of flash reports
  • Consolidation of the bi-annual roadshow papers
  • Preparation of ad-hoc data to support Tax, Treasury, Investor relations, Mergers and Acquisitions and Growth and Development teams
  • Other ad hoc project work as directed by the F&A Vice President

Qualifications:
  • Degree qualified
  • Working towards or recently completed further professional postgraduate accounting qualification


Knowledge, skills and experience:
  • A good understanding of Group policies and good knowledge of IFRS.
  • Experience in a reporting or other key finance role within a complex global organisation
