Function description

We are in search of a skilled 2 nd Officer DPO for a project located in Norway. This role is designated for a specific project starting from the 18 th of June for a trip of 5 weeks. The 2nd Officer DPO will support the bridge team in navigation and dynamic positioning operations, particularly during complex heavy-lift and subsea installation activities. The role is critical in ensuring the vessel maintains precise positioning and stability during crane operations, in full compliance with international offshore regulations and company procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the DP3 system to maintain vessel position and heading during heavy-lift and subsea operations.
• Monitor DP system performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and stability.
• Troubleshoot and report any DP system malfunctions or anomalies.
• Monitor navigational equipment and ensure compliance with navigational rules and regulations.
• Plan and execute navigational routes as required.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Safety Logbook.
• BOSIET + CA-EBS.
• DP Unlimited Certificate.
• STCW certificates.
• Relevant Offshore certificates
