- Purchase components and maintaining up-to-date delivery information based on system messages and supplier feedback
- Develop excellent supplier relationships that result in Emerson being a top priority for our suppliers with cost and delivery in mind.
- Continually making valuable contributions for the organization through purchasing initiatives by partnering with other departments to support market needs
- Establish contingency strategies for our core products to ensure on time delivery and quality
- Participate in the implementation of Lean principles throughout the purchasing department
- Be accountable for inventory steadiness while purchasing to a Plan For Every Part (PFEP) replenishment.
- Promptly settle accounts payable 3-way match incidents
- Partner with our quality team to quickly resolve any non-conforming product issues
- All other day-to-day purchasing related requirements as advised
Who You Are:

Required Education, Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 5 - 8 years related work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of fundamental concepts of production planning, inventory, scheduling, and lean principles as they apply to purchasing
- Forward thinking analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proficient with ERP systems (prefer SAP)
- Advanced excel skills, Tableau/Power Bi experience
- Availability and documentation to travel.
Required Education, Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field
- International procurement experience.
- Progressive Import/Export knowledge
- Experience with purchasing from foundries nice to have
