JOB STATUS: Part-time, Graduate Assistant
DATE AVAILABLE: August 15, 2025
HOURLY RATE: $16-18/hour for 15 hours a week during Fall 2025 and Spring 2026, plus up to 6 credit hours of tuition remission each semester.

The Graduate Assistant (GA) for the Center for Next Generation Leadership supports the day-to-day operations of the Center by assisting the faculty lead with events, student engagement, and communications. Key duties would include coordinating events and experiential learning across campus. This position is ideal for a candidate who is enthusiastic about fostering innovation, leadership, and business development in alignment with the mission of the Brennan School of Business.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support program development by assisting with new initiatives that promote next gen leadership.
- Create marketing materials such as flyers and digital content to promote events and opportunities.
- Maintain records of activities and events in alignment with university policies.
- Collaborate with faculty leads, provide administrative and logistical support, and contribute to student engagement and mentoring efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Canva, Wix, and social media
- Demonstrated initiative, self-motivation, professional, and collaborative in nature
- Enrollment in a Dominican University graduate program is required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience supporting events, workshops, or student programs.
- Experience with digital marketing and student outreach
