We are seeking a Design Production Manager to join our Orlando, FL office. The Design Production Manager is an integral part of our Public Outreach team. In this position, you will work in-office at the Interstate 4 (I-4) Project Office in Celebration, Florida.

How will you contribute to the team?

In this role, you are responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the production process, from initial job requests to final delivery, ensuring efficiency, quality and timely completion.
  • Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and workflow of the production process for the communications department.
  • Serve as the main liaison between the communications team and I-4 leadership.
  • Assigning and managing job tasks for members of the I-4 communications team.
  • Managing the workflow and approval process for all I-4 communications products ranging from program handouts and social media content to complex production items such as booth displays and websites and videos.
  • Schedule and coordinate production of projects to ensure they are completed on time.
  • Lead weekly production meetings to review current job list.
  • Assist with organizing photo & video shoots.
  • Utilize project management software to assign, monitor and prioritize department jobs of each team member.
  • Review final deliverables and press proofs to ensure accuracy and adherence to the program's specifications.
  • Keep track of multiple versions of a job throughout the life cycle of the production and implement QC/QA procedures.
  • Keep up with trends and ideas to improve traffic management and workflow to increase efficiency, reduce turnaround times and enhance product quality.
  • Assisting the team with print vendor relations and production.
  • Assist comms team with preparing for public relations events.

What will you contribute?
  • Associates, Bachelors degree or higher in graphic design, visual arts, or related field strongly preferred. Eight years of experience in a design and production role may be substituted.
  • 8 years managing a creative/advertising/communications department with 2 years experience working as a Design Production Manager / Creative Services Manager / Production Manager.
  • 4 years of experience in AEC and Construction knowledge is strongly preferred.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud experience including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop knowledge.
  • Experience working with print vendors and the print production process.
  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office Suite and job management software.
  • Must have experience working with graphics/multimedia/communications departments.
  • Must be comfortable and confident discussing projects with high-level leadership executives.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented with excellent time-management skills.
  • Able to function well in a fluid and fast-paced environment.
  • Be able to manage & meet short and long-term deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills & proof-reading experience.
