NOV is recruiting an experienced executive to head our Downhole Broadband Solutions (DBS) business in Europe. This critical leadership position comes with full profit and loss (P&L) accountability and responsibility for overseeing all aspects of operations, sales, service, and growth across the region. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of DBS in Houston, this role holds high visibility within NOV's global leadership structure and is instrumental in defining strategy, building organizational capability, and driving commercial performance.

This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong record of operational achievement, and experience leading diverse teams through complex challenges. Key responsibilities:

• Leading the DBS business in Europe, balancing strategic direction with operational execution.
• Delivering on financial commitments, including revenue, EBITDA, and working capital targets.
• Owning all aspects of financial planning and forecasting, ensuring alignment with regional and global performance targets.
• Overseeing the region's sales and operational functions to ensure seamless coordination and execution.
• Acting as the senior point of contact for key customers-developing accounts, ensuring contract success, and building long-term strategic partnerships.
• Developing and mentoring a high-performing, accountable team, with a focus on onboarding, training, and retention.
• Ensuring adherence to safety standards across all operations.
• Championing innovation in digital drilling systems and downhole technologies, building competitive advantage through next-generation solutions.
• Serving as a strategic advisor to global leadership and representing DBS across internal and external platforms.

Qualifications and skills:

Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Extensive leadership experience in commercial and operational roles within the energy or industrial technology sectors.
• Demonstrated success managing profit and loss, delivering financial outcomes, and driving strategic initiatives.
• A customer-focused mindset with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with downhole tools, wired drill pipe, or related energy services technology.
• Experience operating across diverse European markets.
• Exposure to digital drilling systems, real-time monitoring, or downhole analytics platforms.
