Technip Energies and their partners were awarded an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for the worlds first commercial scale gas-fired power station with carbon capture. The construction site is located in the Tees Valley in the North-East of England.
We are currently seeking a Site Security Manager to join the team in the North-East of England.
The successful candidate will be site-based.
Job Scope
Your mission
To develop, coordinate and implement Security, procedures and plans in support of all Project activities in relation to the Net Zero Teesside Power project.

Job Scope
Your mission
To develop, coordinate and implement Security, procedures and plans in support of all Project activities in relation to the Net Zero Teesside Power project.
- Responsible for managing Project Security through the monitoring of Contractor Security set-up
- Lead, manage and support all NZT security aspects
- Remaining flexible to response to all Security and Emergency events.
- Identify and anticipate threats to the security of Project personnel, operations, develop and maintain the Security Risk Assessments and Security Vulnerability Assessment documentation.
- Deliver Project Security deliverables and updates aligned with Project, COMPANY and State Agency Standards requirements.
- Implement Project Security & Emergency Response plans and procedures ensuring alignment with TEN policies and COMPANY requirements and local Laws.
- Update as necessary Security policies and procedures to meet project requirements at all phases of project execution.
- Provide advice to the NZT Project Management Team and all staff including booklets/information, awareness and appropriate induction training to promote a secure working environment.
- Develop training to permanently improve effectiveness and performance of NZT Security and Security Services Provider personnel.
- Develop Security drills and exercises and ensure that the appropriate pre-planned security actions are taken during crises, incidents and emergencies.
- Generate reports on all security training drills.
- Report without delay Security incidents to Site HSES Manager and Site Operations Manager to ensure that correct response actions are taken in line with NZT policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all security incidents are investigated as per T.EN guidelines, Lessons Learned and correctives actions implemented to avoid re-occurrence.
- Provide Security reports to the Site HSES Manager and Site Operations Manager.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with COMPANY, BB, Subcontractors and external agencies to resolve any Security related issues.
- Control the implementation of physical, technical and procedural security measures for all Project work.
- Manage external Security Services Provider when needed.
- Manage the overall security of NZT personnel and assets

Previous experiences:
- Experience as Security Manager on large scale construction/engineer projects

- Mandatory certification:
- Recognised industry qualification.
