The Director of Gas Sales holds a pivotal leadership position in propelling CK Supply's gas business forward. This role is responsible for overseeing all gas sales activities-including bulk, microbulk, packaged, and specialty gases-with a strategic emphasis on profitable growth and operational excellence.
You will lead a high-performing team, craft and execute strategic sales initiatives, strengthen key customer partnerships, and optimize pricing and contract performance. By aligning team execution with CK Supply's long-term growth objectives, you will play a direct role in expanding market presence and enhancing customer success.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set strategic direction for all gas sales operations across bulk, microbulk, packaged, and specialty product lines
- Lead, mentor, and develop the gas sales team across territories to achieve or exceed budgeted revenue and margin goals
- Identify emerging markets, customer segments, and growth opportunities to expand CK Supply's gas market share
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, and engage directly in key account management, RFPs, project bids, and long-term contracts
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Logistics, Customer Service, Finance, and Compliance teams
- Manage pricing strategies and margin performance with consideration of market trends, cost structures, and customer value
- Enhance pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and CRM utilization
- Uphold compliance with all safety protocols and gas product handling regulations
- Work with Marketing to promote CK's gas capabilities, service innovations, and market messaging
- Represent CK Supply at industry events, trade associations, and technical symposiums
- Champion growth aligned with CK's strategic objectives and long-term business plan
- Foster a team culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning
- Embody and promote CK's Core Values through leadership, actions, and communication
- Perform additional duties as required to support evolving business needs
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- College graduate or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Minimum 10 years of successful sales experience in the industrial gas industry
- Minimum 5 years in a sales leadership role, preferably in a B2B environment
- Deep understanding of gas distribution methods, including microbulk, bulk, and cylinders
- Proven track record of leading, coaching, and motivating high-performing sales teams
- Skilled negotiator of long-term supply agreements with complex customer requirements
- Highly organized with strong strategic thinking and project management abilities
- Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal
- Self-starter with a drive for excellence and continuous improvement
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without authority
- Proficient in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel as needed across CK Supply territories
