The Offshore UK Wind Program is the development of the Morgan, Mona, and Morven projects. The program play a material part in supporting the UK Government’s target of producing sufficient offshore wind energy to power every UK home by the end of this decade. These projects have a combined potential generating capacity of 5.9 gigawatts, sufficient to power the equivalent of around 6 million households – helping to achieve Scotland’s offshore wind generation target of 11GW and the UK’s 50GW target by 2030. BP have formed a 50/50 JV partnership with Hamburg based EnBW in delivery of the UK Offshore Wind programme.

Your responsibilities:
- Managing the negotiation of the Service Maintenance Agreement (SMA) and Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA) contracts for the WTG package in collaboration with the project team stakeholders.
- Leading the negotiation of the commercial contractual terms with the preferred supplier to the point of FID and Contract Award.
- Delivering the SMA and LTSA contracts in line with the project schedule.
- Working closely with the project team negotiating the Turbine Supply Agreement (TSA) to ensure the interfaces and commercial risks are appropriately captured between these contracts.
- Support the process of preparing for, and seeking approval from, the Project Leadership Team, Board and Shareholders to award contracts.
Experience and Job requirements
- Experience or a good understanding of large-scale energy projects in the offshore wind industry.
- 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management or project development, preferably for large infrastructure, manufacturing, or energy projects, including renewable energy projects.
- Understanding of the complexities of offshore wind project development, its components, and the associated supply chain.
- Experience with stakeholder management, tendering, negotiation and award of WTG service agreements.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills.
- Commercial mindset, analytical skills, and confident negotiator with all levels of stakeholders.
- O&M, Commercial and Legal teams.
- A bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in procurement, supply chain, engineering, industrial engineering, or similar.
