Job Summary
The Marketing/Proposal Coordinator will support the Preconstruction Manager in coordinating and managing the proposal development process for utility-scale solar projects.

Knowledge/Skills/Ability
Supports and adheres to the matrix organization format. Ensures client satisfaction, both internally and externally, through positive, pleasant, professional and efficient handling of issues. Exercises good interpersonal skills by gladly assisting others to accomplish work of the organization, even if it is outside the scope of regular duties. Models and reinforces safety as a top priority of the organization. Always wears a hard hat and other appropriate personal protective equipment in the field. Practices the values outlined in the Flintco Ethos. Meets schedules and deadlines, adheres to policies and procedures and maintains a good attendance/tardiness record. Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook software applications. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite preferred. Must possess above average communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality service.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Engineering or related field from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
1 - 3 years of experience in the Renewable Energy/Solar industry and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Flintco offers base compensation for the Denver area of $70,000 to $80,000. Actual compensation may be affected by factors such as education, experience, skillset and/or location.

- Collaborate with the Preconstruction Manager and cross-functional teams (engineering, finance, procurement, etc.) to develop accurate, competitive, and compliant proposals for utility-scale solar projects.
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end proposal process, including kick-off meetings, proposal writing, bid strategy development, review cycles, and final submission.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain proposal documents, including technical specifications, project plans, and cost estimates.
- Draft and edit proposal content, including executive summaries, project narratives, and management plans, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Assist in the review of Estimating and Engineering documents to ensure consistency with Flintco standards.
- Meets proposal deadline by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; entering and monitoring tracking data; coordinating requirements with contributors; contributing proposal status information to review meetings; producing and transmitting proposals.
- Check for consistency across all proposal components (technical, financial, legal) and ensure that the proposal reflects the company's capabilities and value proposition effectively.
- Maintain a library of proposal templates, past project references, and other relevant documents to streamline future proposal submissions.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and documents for client meetings or interviews following proposal submission.
- Support any necessary follow-up actions post-submission, including clarification of proposal details, negotiation assistance, or additional documentation requests.
- Maintains historical project data in Client Relationship Management (CRM) database.
- Gathers, organizes and compiles project experience for use in project profiles for proposals, CRM and the website.
- Assists in maintenance of employee resume files.
