Job Title: Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Tech

Required Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or equivalent

2. 5 years of experience in industrial/commercial HVAC service experience

3. Ability to work with limited supervision

4. EPA Universal Refrigeration License

5. Extensive knowledge of refrigeration/electrical/electronic trouble shooting

6. Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

7. Computer proficient in office suite and related HVAC maintenance software

8. Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders on a routine basis

9. Valid South Carolina driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Technical/Trade/Career school graduate with certificate, associate's degree (or equivalent)

2. 10 years experience in industrial/commercial HVAC systems

3. Certifications in various HVAC systems and controls

4. Well versed in Building Automation Systems control systems

5. Experience with Trane Tracer TU and Trane ES software

6. Supervisory experience

Reports To: HVAC Manager and HVAC Crew Chief

Job Goal: Ensure the districts HVAC systems are always serviceable, operated conservatively and repaired in an expedient manner.
