The Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join a dynamic program focused on delivering cutting-edge, integrated technology solutions. The successful candidate will coordinate and complete assigned systems engineering tasks, working closely with commercial teams to ensure alignment of technical deliverables with overall program goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct evaluations of technical proposals as part of tender assessment teams.
  • Provide engineering input for requests for information (RFI), requests for quotation (RFQ), and requests for tender (RFT), including drafting and reviewing contract statements of work and technical documentation.
  • Develop and review engineering plans such as Test and Evaluation Master Plans, Systems Engineering Management Plans, Safety Management Plans, and Configuration Management Plans.
  • Prepare technical documentation for program submissions.
  • Provide professional engineering advice to support the development and certification of complex systems in accordance with established governance frameworks.
  • Manage engineering change processes, configuration management, and technical certification activities.
  • Work independently to perform complex systems engineering tasks across the full lifecycle.

As the ideal candidate you will bring:
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics, Computers, Communications, Networking, or a related discipline, or an equivalent qualification recognized under the Washington Accord.
  • Minimum of 5 years recent and relevant experience in systems engineering within complex technology programs.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycle management.
  • Experience in drafting and reviewing contractual engineering documentation.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Current/active Chartered Engineering accreditation is preferred.

Desirables:
  • Experience in communications systems engineering.
  • Familiarity with programmatic governance and commercial frameworks supporting continuous capability development.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in an agile, technology-driven environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active NV1 Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding a NV1 Clearance or above should apply.
