Short description

We are seeking an experienced Crawler Crane Operator to support a micro tunneling project in Albi, France. The operator will be responsible for safely operating a crawler crane to assist with lifting operations related to the AVN1600 machine and associated tunneling equipment.

Function description

• Operate crawler crane (70 tons) to lift and position heavy components including pipes, TBM parts, and support equipment.
• Work closely with the tunneling and pit teams to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations.
• Conduct daily inspections and routine maintenance of the crane.
• Follow all site safety protocols and lifting plans.
• Assist with rigging and signaling as needed.

Requirements

• Valid crawler crane operator license/certification (EU-recognized).
• Proven experience operating crawler cranes on tunneling or heavy civil projects.
• Familiarity with AVN machines and micro tunneling operations is a plus.
• Basic understanding of French or English for site communication.
• Work permit in France (mandatory)
• Self-employed / company registration proof or willing to obtain it (mandatory)
