This role will lead the development of electronics for rotary steerable drilling systems and other downhole technologies. The candidate should have experience in the design of digital, power, and analog circuit designs, and a solid understanding of electrical circuit theory. Downhole tool (MLWD and/or wireline) circuit design experience is preferred. Experience developing firmware is also preferred. This role will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to execute challenging engineering projects and delivering to plan. This role requires a candidate that is able to produce creative and efficient designs to meet product requirements and take ownership of the performance and reliability of those designs.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8+ years related experience

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering

• Master's degree in electrical engineering preferred

• Experience in the design of digital, power, and analog circuit designs, and a solid understanding of electrical circuit theory

• Downhole tool (RSS, M/LWD and/or wireline) circuit design experience preferred

• Experience developing firmware preferred

• A proven track record of developing new downhole electronics designs is preferred
