JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS LLP) is currently looking for Electrical Engineers / Designers (All levels) who are confident working with RoK regulatory requirements (KZ Passport holders) to join our team in Atyrau, Almaty, Astana, Kazakhstan.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Development of design documentation in accordance with the Law of the RoK 1.02-03-2022 and other regulatory documents of the RoK
• Develop power supply and lighting schemes, single-line diagrams, equipment layout, cable routes, cable logs, select electrical equipment by loads, grounding, load calculation, etc.
• Design and develop feasibility studies, projects, detailed documentation
• Design power electrical equipment, electric lighting, lightning protection and grounding, overhead lines, select routes and laying of trays, laying of cable lines in the ground
• Calculate cable cross-sections, voltage loss, lightning protection and grounding, lighting and heating

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in the area of specialized software would be an advantage
• Knowledge of regulatory documents of the RoK in the field of power supply, Electrical Installation Code are required
• Skills in working with expertise
• Skills in projects within EPC contract/"turnkey" (Engineering, Supply and Construction)
• Qualification certificates
• AutoCAD, MS Office
• Communication skills, ability to work in a team and independently
