High School Diploma or equivalent and successful completion of an HVAC trade school or equivalent HVAC experience.
Basic HVAC knowledge required.
EPA Universal Refrigerant License with one-year of hire or transfer.
Valid PA Driver's License

Responsibilities:
- Improves and/or supports others in improving the health and well-being of all patients and staff member through excellence in patient care, teaching and research.Preforms building rounds, checks operation and makes corrections as necessary, regularly reviews Building Management System for alarms and operating conditions of systems. Provides appropriate documentation.Assist with and learns operation of buildings systems as controlled by BAS on other control systems. Equipment as such but not limited to: heating systems, water heating systems, HVAC systems, Water Treatment systems, Ice producing systems, Refrigeration/Refrigerators and Freezers, Medical Gas System, Medical Vacuum System and Compressed Air System.Responsible for timely completion of work orders, Preventive Maintenance, Logs, Performance testing and documentation.Responsible for setting-up appropriate level of infection control containment (ICRA) based on risk level and maintaining the integrity of that containment.
- Accurately requisitions materials, maintains files and records, Records time and material expended.Responsible to complete annual Hospital and department fire/safety and infection control training and maintains current knowledge of safety procedures within the Hospital and department.Assist with and learn how to maintain and repair mechanical systems.Assists other trades as appropriate or assigned by managementMaintains a clean safe work environment, including storage and shop areas.Assists with snow and ice removal as required.Could be scheduled for off shifts and rotation as needed, available for on-call.Maintains neat, safe and sanitary work area consistent with laws and ordinances governing health care facilities. Prepares workstation upon arrival and cleans up upon completion.Preforms a variety of routine tasks which can involve any equipment or mechanical system within the area of Facilities/Construction Management responsibility including preventive maintenance tasks.
