Role Summary/Purpose

GE Aviation is looking for a Computer Science student to work with local GEIQ Business Solutions Team, generating and facilitating digital web-based solutions to fulfill Engineering, Operations and Finances teams' needs.

Essential Responsibilities

• Generate Software and Data solutions (dashboards)

• Business specific web application development and maintenance

• Collaborate with development team to optimize applications performance and improve software quality.

• Apply principles for Software Engineering and Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver highly reliable and scalable solutions

• Project management of assigned tasks

• Project documentation

Qualifications/Requirements

• Studying bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering or related fields with minimum 1 year before graduating.

• Knowledge of Full Stack Web Development Languages and Frameworks (HTML5, JS, CSS3, Angular, Node.js)

• Familiarity in Version Control Systems

• Scripting and Automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

• Strong SQL Knowledge

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

• Manage multiple tasks with ability to prioritize activities and promptly raise blocking issues

• Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish
