Short description

We are currently seeking an experienced AVN1600 Operator to join our micro tunneling team for a high-profile infrastructure project in Albi, France. The project involves a 420-meter drive with two vertical curves using an AVN1600 machine.

Function description

For this position, your main tasks will be:

• Operate and monitor AVN1600 micro tunneling equipment during tunneling operations.
• Ensure safe and efficient execution of the drive, including navigation through vertical curves.
• Assist on the assemble and disassemble of site.
• Perform daily checks and basic maintenance on the machine.
• Collaborate with the site team to ensure smooth shift transitions and continuous operation.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and project-specific procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating AVN micro tunneling machines (preferably AVN1600 or similar).
• Strong understanding of tunneling operations, including curved drives.
• Ability to work in a rotational schedule (3 weeks on / 1 week off).
• EU work eligibility and willingness to work in France.
• English required.
