SUMMARY

Alaska Gold Co LLC., a company within the BSNC family is currently seeking a qualified Quarry Manager for Cape Nome Quarry, in Nome Alaska. The Quarry Manager will monitor day to day operations at the Quarry and will ensure all aspects of the operation will be run in accordance with our Operating agreement and in a safe and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position, and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job.

• Monitor the day to day operations at the Rock Quarry.

• Report that all operational aspects of the Quarry are run in accordance with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations.

• Monitor Drilling and Blasting at the Quarry and provide reports to AGC Management to ensure quantities reported by Operator are accurate.

• Work with Quarry Manager to ensure that all project deadlines and orders are met.

• Practice workplace safety.

• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum) Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver's License

• 5-10 years of Rock Quarry Operational experience

• 3-5 year of experience working under MSHA Part 46 and/or 48.

• Licensed Drone Pilot

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

• Knowledge of Cape Nome Quarry Operations.

• Ability to work well with others.

Preferred

• AK-CESCL Certification

• Competent in using Microsoft Word and Excel

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job is performed outdoors with almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, bio hazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises.

Occasional travel may be required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

As a condition of employment, will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
