Your Role and Responsibilities

We are now looking for a recent graduate to join our global ABB Discovery Program in the Electrification Service Division in Vaasa. As a talent for the future, you will be trained to become an expert in managing the large installed base of ABB content in Finland. You will operate close to our sales personnel, supporting and working with them to reach business targets and develop the service business in the region. During this 18-month program you will also have the chance to gain international experience with a Short-Term Assignment (STA) abroad. After finishing the program, you will continue your career at ABB in a permanent position.

Start date for the program is in September 2025. Note that the position will be filled as soon as a suitable candidate is found. The work model in this position is: #LI-hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Supporting Electrification Service sales teams to generate leads and a solid quotation pipeline based on the installed base of ABB products.
  • Visiting customers' sites to map installed base and feed the data into the systems.
  • Utilizing the data to identify and evaluate opportunities with existing and potential customers and channels in Finland
  • Assisting and training local sales departments in developing the sales and tendering processes based on the existing installations.


Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's or Master`s level degree studies (recently graduated or soon to graduate) in electrical engineering or similar
  • Knowledge, some experience or interest in areas such as sales, installers, distributors, panel builders, system integrators and working with industrial customers
  • Fluency in Finnish and English both written and spoken, further language skills seen as a benefit
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills with sales orientation and motivation to develop further
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites within Finland, approximately 50 days a year
  • Customer interface experience seen as a benefit
