Job Summary

We are seeking a (hybrid) Billing Specialist with experience and background in government and commercial invoicing to join the KBR Shared Services Accounts Receivable (AR) Department specifically supporting the Readiness and Sustainment Business Unit.

The Readiness & Sustainment Business Unit supports customers like the Department of Defense, Department of State, and various commercial customers. The team partners with project control analysts to complete the invoicing process for all contract types and functions necessary to deliver smooth and safe base operations around the world.

The Billing Specialist will generate cost reimbursable, time and material, and firm fixed price invoices and submit invoices electronically using multiple customer systems.

This role is a hybrid position; candidates must lie in the Houston or surrounding area.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ability to work in an agile environment
• Coordinate with other departments to meet deadlines
• Interface with internal/external customers, and government pay offices
• Solve problems of various complexity following established policies, practices and procedures
• Provide assistance as required to the entire AR team
• Other responsibilities as needed and assigned

Basic Qualifications

• Effective oral and written communication skills are required
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of experience
