Vestas Northern Central Europe (NCE) business unit is responsible for the Sales, Project, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout the NCE region. NCE aims to stand out as a business unit in the company and a great environment to work. The North Service Region is a part of NCE area and consists of 14 countries. As an Operational Lead, Special Task North, you will be playing a vital role in our execution of Special Task Work. Reporting directly to Special Task Manager North, the Operational Lead will support and develop our plans for execution. We are working on some of the most high-profile onshore wind farms within the renewables industry, as well as collaborating with departments across Vestas globally to contribute to solid performance and development.

Responsibilities
The role is responsible for supervising the performance in their area and coordinating both operational and management aspects cross-functionally to improve both customer and employee experience. The role is working closely with the customer service team and internal planning functions to meet your goals and KPIs. In addition, the responsibilities include:
• Strategic short- and long-term planning for execution of Main Component work. Support in the development of the execution strategy
• Support the business, implementation of initiatives, Operational status reporting including risks
• Working in Power Bi, SAP & Salesforce - sharing best practice with the Backoffice team
• Maintain an efficient governance structure flowing through the operations organization
• Analysis of operational and financial data, making necessary changes and improvements. Guide the organization and team through change and improvement initiatives
• Ensuring effective communication in the organization. Seeking ways to improve collaboration cross functionally
• Readiness of new technical solutions and associated implementation plans and handover to Service

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we believe that you bring the following experience:
• Experience from technical planning and/ or Dispatching Turbine work
• People management experience, for instance of leading technicians
• Experience of change management, performance management and project management
• Experience of operational environments
• Educational background within business or technical field, or equivalent work experience
• Fluency in English
• Experienced user of the Microsoft Office suite

Additional Information
Work locations: Vestas' offices in: DK, Videbæk
Travelling will be required, about 30 days per year is to be expected.
