We are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Supervisor - Electronics to work with suppliers, operations, R&D and quality team as an individual contributor, under general direction, chip in to AFTC materials regionalization.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

1 Supply base optimization - Regionalization

• Lead on setting up goals of their commodity/BU goals of regional source %
• Analyze spending by applying the 80/20 rule to identify sourcing opportunities
• Engage team members in launching regionalization projects
• Track on project progresses and participate achievement meetings, support on resource allocation and decision making.

2 Alternative sourcing

• As the contact window to BU/Global Commodity team to align BU/Global supply chain strategies with local supply chain goals.
• ES project planning for their BU/commodities.
• Resource allocation to support ES events.

3 Commercial

• Be responsible for the efforts of system data accuracy check.
• Support Purchasing / SQE on the sophisticated issues related to supplier delivery / quality.
• Be responsible for Commodity critical metric performance.

4 New Product Introduction

• As an interface to E&D on NPD and NPI from supply chain perspectives.

5 Special Project

• One innovation project a year.
• Support Sourcing manager on AFTC supply chain critical metrics.
• Using CIP and other tools, identify and implement improvements in processes and procedures.
• To implement ISO 9000/14000/18000 seriously and improve quality / environment / Occupational Health continuously.

For This Role, You Will Need:

The candidate shall have at least 5 years of experience in supply chain or commodity management, mechanical or chemical commodities are preferred. Proven knowledge of financial markets that influence commodity prices. Good negotiation skills and effective communication with vendors and suppliers. Sophisticated analytical abilities. Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate across various departments.

BS or equivalent experience Engineering

Strong technical skills in appropriate engineering field. Commercial and management experience a plus

Be familiar with ISO system
