Job Summary
As a Bus Driver, you will be dispatched to drive up to a 57-passenger bus along predetermined bus routes on Camp Bondsteel, transporting passengers to various points on base. You will be dispatched to operate these buses to transport US soldiers to other locations outside of base to other locations in Kosovo, North Macedonia and Albania. You will also be tasked to drive up to 7 passenger taxi vans to various locations on and off base. Duties also include the cleaning of the vehicles, reporting any mechanical issues and performing pre and post trip inspections.

Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities
- Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman or General Foreman.
- Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities.
- Drives bus to transport passengers in support of plant construction and maintenance activities.
- Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment, complying with local traffic regulations, and reporting delays or accidents.
- Performs other duties and activities as directed.
- Operate a variety of passenger buses, ranging in size from 23 to 57 seat capacity.
- Must perform Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) before, during and after each mission and report any deficiencies found.
- Driver will be transporting military and civilian personnel to and from various locations on and off the base camp
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Possession of a valid civilian driving license (Class D).
- Knowledge of and skilled in operating 57 passenger and smaller buses, with automatic and standard transmissions.
- Ability to safely operate a bus day or night, in all weather conditions and all types of terrain.
- Knowledge of traffic and safety regulations and procedures pertaining to bus vehicle operation.
- Ability to judge road/traffic conditions and read road maps to determine the shortest and safest route.
- Safety pickup and drop off passengers to and from their destinations.
- Ability to prepare (wash & clean) and maintain daily vehicle dispatch and passenger record count. Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor.
- Able to work rotating shifts.
- Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
- Fluency in Albanian and possessing an unrestricted right to work and reside in Kosovo.
- Candidates must be able to speak, read, and write in English at an beginner level to ensure effective communication in a multilingual work environment.
- All applicants will be required to complete a written exam and an oral assessment to verify English language proficiency as part of the selection process.
