Lead Supply Chain Strategy

Create and drive supply chain strategies that help us meet manufacturing needs and business goals.

Stay informed on global industry trends by building strong relationships with suppliers, trade partners, and analysts.

Work closely with the WA Commodity Team to shape a comprehensive strategy, including:

Understanding needs across sites, regions, and business units

Reducing risk and supporting growth through smart sourcing

Choosing preferred suppliers and managing e-sourcing efforts

Leading contract negotiations and delivering measurable value

Improving material sourcing and pricing strategies

Grow and Strengthen Supplier Partnerships

Find, assess, and onboard new suppliers to expand and diversify our supply base.

Team up with Supplier Quality and Site Quality teams to test and validate trial parts.

Support successful supplier transitions into our production process.

Drive Performance and Continuous Improvement

Set clear performance goals and KPIs with suppliers.

Build improvement plans that boost efficiency, improve inventory flow, and support strong capacity planning.

Lead Projects and Promote Integrity

Manage cross-functional projects and keep them on track to meet deadlines and results.

Model and promote Emerson's Code of Conduct and supply chain standards.

Bring Emerson's values to life in every part of the supply chain.

Take on additional tasks as needed and support your team wherever possible.

Who You Are:

We seek a dedicated specialist who take ownership of developing and executing key strategies for assigned commodities, ensuring alignment with global commodity objectives to deliver efficient value for the organization. If you are a person who continuously improve supplier performance to enhance supply chain efficiency and overall operational excellence, we would like to hear from you.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline, with minimum years proven experience
  • Some technical background in manufacturing and sourcing experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the vital skills to optimally utilize technology and systems specific to the department required
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Dedicated to achieving goals and capable of working autonomously
  • Positive characteristics, well-organized, good time management, and self-motivated.
